It was just a decent option for a transient visit in Reykjavik with good value. The room cleaning was subpar, as I found a cut nail on the floor on the second day. Be prepared for quite a bit of street noise while trying to sleep.

i had a great stay in a standard double room, as the hotel was just a short walk from amazing landmarks like the reykjavik museum of photography and beautiful lake tjornin, which made my weekend strolls so enjoyable and convenient.

would absolutely stay here again
Enjoyed a stay in a Junior Suite with a private sauna. Modern design with a ceiling to floor window offering breathtaking views of the city and mountains. Room had cable channels, a seating area, and a shower with organic toiletries. The fitness center was a cool bonus too. Greeted with champagne at check-in, which was a great touch.

The lack of onsite parking is a real hassle!!! Also, the noise disturbances from nearby bars make it hard to unwind at night. The room layout could use some serious rethinking to enhance comfort!!!

The location is ideal, just a short walk from the famous rainbow road, surrounded by bars and restaurants. The hotel has a beautiful boutique design and the staff were exceptionally welcoming, offering a complimentary glass of prosecco upon check-in. They efficiently provided great dinner recommendations and made reservations to enhance my experience. The room included a mini bar at no extra charge, which was a nice touch for a business traveler.
There was noticeable street noise from nearby bars that could disturb sleep.

Incredible views from the Junior Suite made every morning special, with a comfortable bed facing floor-to-ceiling windows. The staff's warm welcome and personalized recommendations for local dining were standout experiences. Prosecco upon arrival was a delightful touch. However, the signs outside could be larger, which made finding the entrance a bit tricky, and while the complimentary mini bar was nice, it could benefit from additional snacks.

missingWrote a review on 27 Maynoise disturbances
Staying on a bustling street meant that noise from nearby bars and restaurants could be bothersome during late nights, especially for light sleepers. The room felt unusually hot, with a confusing thermostat setup that required fiddling with individual radiator controls for comfort. Additionally, the cleanliness left a bit to be desired, with noticeable stains on the sofa and walls. On checking in, we found hair on the bed sheets that needed to be removed ourselves before settling in, which is less than ideal when you're paying a good amount. The limited dining options on-site forced us to venture out for meals, and I missed having a spoon for my coffee machine after finding it dusty.

Stylish rooms but some big misses
We stayed 2 nights in the Standard Double Room. The design of the room was really nice, loved the huge windows and the wet room setup. The bar area was cool for drinks too! But the sulfur smell from the water was pretty off-putting, and the staff was hit or miss—some were super friendly, others not so much.
